“Cupid Shuffle” is a song by Cupid. It has spawned a popular line dance and has drawn comparison to DJ Casper’s “Cha Cha Slide.” The dance is becoming popular, especially in hip hop dance circles.

In the United States, the song has thus far peaked at #93 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #24 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Already the dance is recieving criticism by real hip hop fans as another sign of the decreasing state of hip hop. One rapper being quoted as saying “Thats what’s wrong with the kids today, they no longer want to hear rappers with a message in their songs, they just wanted to be entertained. The heart and soul of hip hop is gone”.
